Sweet Carolina K is a Fargo, ND-based business that specializes in creating fashionable lanyards for women.

The idea to create fashion-forward, statement jewelry in the form of a lanyard materialized when the company’s CCO, Christina, complained to her husband, Byron – the company’s CEO – that she was tired of putting a standard, workplace-issued lanyard over her work clothes. She wanted something “fashionable” – a necklace that would make the same statement as the rest of her outfit. “If only I could just make my own necklaces and turn them into lanyards,” Christina said. “Well, actually, you can,” replied Byron. That simple conversation launched an idea that quickly lead to the creation of SweetCarolinaK.com.

A little bit about the Co-Founders…….Byron and Christina currently live in West Fargo, ND with their two children, Charlie & Carolina. Sweet Carolina K is actually named after their daughter Carolina and the “K” is the middle initial for the middle name shared by both Christina and Carolina. Christina works for the local school district and is in a position that requires her to wear an ID badge daily. Her passion for family, life and career is reflected in each piece she designs.
